Stepping under the embellished archway that led to her new house, Adelaide opened the door, letting herself into the cozy front room. The many mirrors lining the pale green walls mimicked her as she kicked off her snow covered boots and removed her black button down coat. She then removed her black mittens and her bright orange scarf and placed them on the heat vent. A few steps later she reached the doorway leading to the living room.
